Golf For our organization to continue to grow and be successful, we need your support. Please consider hosting a special event such as a walk, a run or golf outing in your area. They can be fun and it's not as much work as you might think.

Paladini Sauces - The owner of this company, Achille Paladini, is a SMS grandfather. Not only is he providing information about SMS on his sauce labels, Mr. Paladini is also donating a portion of his profits to PRISMS.

eScrip - A easy, hassle free way to help us. Register your credit cards with this service and eScrip will donate a certain percentage of sales from select merchants to PRISMS.

United Way - Many companies have a fall campaign drive for the United Way. Consider designating PRISMS as the recipient of your generous gift.

iGive - This is another easy, hassle free way to support us. iGive is a free online shopping mall that links to thousands of merchants. These merchants will donate up to 26% to PRISMS for each purchase made as long as you've entered the merchant's site via iGive.

PALADINI SAUCES

Mr. Achille "Kiki" Paladini of San Mateo, CA owns a seafood sauce business and has changed the labeling on his Paladini seafood sauces to include information about SMS. In addition to the SMS information, Mr. Paladini is donating a portion of his profits on the sale of these sauces to PRISMS. Please ask your local grocer for these sauces, they're fantastic!

Mr. and Mrs. Paladini are the parents of Laura Brown of Pleasanton, CA and the grandparents to Samantha Brown, one of our SMS children.

UNITED WAY

As you may know, the United Way begins its annual fundraising drive each fall in nearly every community in the United States, Canada and many other countries. It provides a way for many charities to obtain funds by individuals contributing a portion of their paycheck through payroll deduction. Each United Way chapter lists a variety of organizations that may be chosen for payroll deductions, most of which are locally based. Many of the United Way's 1,400 chapters or member organizations also allow individuals to write in the charity of their choice. The 501(c)(3) non-profit status of PRISMS should qualify us for the write-in option (assuming the local chapter accepts write-ins). To obtain a write-in campaign in your workplace, contact your company's United Way chairperson or your local United Way agency to ask if there is a write-in or designation option. Most co-workers are eager to donate to a cause that is personally tied to a colleague. Posting a public letter or a poster asking your fellow employees to join you in our fight against SMS might be one way to reach all the employees and increase our funding.
