The FOX 26 television station in Houston, TX ran this feature story in November 2004. Their Chief Meteorologist, Cecilia Poole, has a daughter Sarah with SMS. Cecilia received permission to do the feature to raise awareness about SMS. Two Houston families and their SMS children were a huge part of making this feature a success - Leanne and Rick Vandover and their daughter Evin and Doug and Shawna Daniels and their daughter Mackenzie. Dr. Lorraine Potocki, a leading SMS researcher at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, also participated. This 6-1/2 minute video was originally produced for fundraising events but may also be helpful to increase your understanding and awareness of SMS. A special thanks to Bob Singleton at Singleton Productions, Inc. (http://www.singletonproductions.com) who produced this video for us. Note: this video is also available on DVD to PRISMS members.
